In this newsletter you will be able to view the following:
T
he birthstone for
June is the Pearl. We
provide a link to a web page of information on pearls and we have placed our
6mm white, 1/2 drilled, grade AAA freshwater pearls on sale along with
an 6mm gold-filled setting.
Gary Helwig, inventor of the WigJig tools will be providing free demonstrations on making jewelry with our WigJig tools at the Bead & Button show in Milwaukee, June 5-7. Please look for him in the Soft Flex Booth. There won't be a booth labeled WigJig .
As in every newsletter we have our new jewelry making project. This months project is detailed instructions on a new technique for making necklaces using bead stringing wire without using crimp beads. If you have ever had a problem with a crimp bead, you should read these instructions. We also provide instructions for making the four necklaces shown at right.
Our jewelry making technique for this newsletter is some discussion on jewelry wire cutters -- what you can and can't cut and how to sharpen them if you happen to cut the wrong thing.
As always, in this newsletter we provide some Boomer Humor and some Boomer Philosophy.
Finally, our WigJig Nostalgia Corner for this month is a revisit of our Cloisonne Necklaces. You can view one of these necklaces below-left.
